Herceptin is a treatment for early and advanced breast cancer. This app was designed to be used by Roche sales representatives to communicate its uses and efficacy to healthcare professionals. The main challenge in designing for the healthcare sector is collaborating with medical copywriters to translate scientific research based writing into something that follows UI/UX content best practices, while ensuring that important medical information is not lost. Every footnote and punctuation matters, and it's up to the designer to ensure the quality of the design is intuitive for the sales representatives to use, make sense to healthcare professionals, and consequently, make a life-changing difference to cancer patients.
